uncle henry told us something very sudden today. and when he said his 'goodbye' speech, i almost wanted to cry. he's been the nicest coach ever, one that i felt took all of us seriously and would not favour the better players.

well, i should be proud that he's going on to a higher level, signing on to SBF and proceeding to coach the national team. but in a way, all of us saints have been quite attached to him i must say, and he's been with sa for like, almost 8 yrs?

its only been 1 month plus that the 2nd intake bowlers have been with him, but yet, i could sense the sadness today in all of us. although we all kept quiet, in our hearts, we are proud of him, but i've got to admit that my selfish side was partly cursing SBF for taking him away just when tournament was just around the corner.

another consolation is that uncle adam's still here. but then again, i dont really feel 'connected' to uncle adam, so far, he hasnt given me any advice yet or anything and he seems to favour those whom he knows better. and at that moment, i was worried that my bowling journey was gonna just collapse and break apart.

thinking about it makes me sad. i know there's still uncle adam, but i believe that uncle henry could connect more with every single one of us. even like the newer bowlers like shawn and gt, he didnt neglect them unlike every ordinary other coach who'd just concentrate on the better bowlers, uncle henry would focus more on the newer ones to improve their skills so as to increase their competence. his advice was really really very valuable and i seen the improvement in my style and approach in just 1 month.

but after all, better prospects lead to a better future. im sure uncle henry will bring team singapore to greater heights to attain glory for our nation. and i'll be very very proud of him. it kinda tugged my heart strings today, and i could sense uncle henry's sadness when he said his goodbyes.

as quoted by uncle henry. but i didnt expect it to be so soon. i guess i've learnt not to take things for granted. sometimes, things which seem so near, so close to your heart, might just vanish in front of your eyes.

and another thing, i've never really considered myself as a pro bowler, someone who's just slightly better than average, and at tk, the coaches sort of focussed on the better bowlers, leaving the others to fend for themselves. i kinda felt left out, felt unappreciated, felt like i wasnt part of the team but just a cheerleader standing by the sidelines. it was only until march this yr that i joined saints bowling and that uncle henry came into view.

he was fatherly, he was amiable, he was just very professional and yet, personal. he didnt leave anyone out, and although he talked much, he didnt preach like rick tan who'd just continue about himself. uncle henry would give us valuable advice that would really work if we'd follow it. he made us feel appreciated and welcomed and that he believed in us. sigh. im just feeling down that saints bowling has to say goodbye to such a wonderful coach like him, but i really hope he'll do singapore proud, cos i know that saints bowling will always be behind him no matter what.

okay. let's talk about yest.

pe was fun. ultimate frisbee. yixiang had injuries though. ouch. but we finally scored goals this time. ahaha! but dunno why i have butter fingers catching the frisbee.

then the sun was like damn hot so mr ng asked us to go to the fitness corner, got almost the whole class, about 20 people to stand on the balancing beam in random order. and he got us to arrange ourselves from tall to tallest. we played this game during orientation. but we stood on those benches. which were wider. the balancing beam was just like, 15 cm in width? yeah. and it was cool to see all of us prove our perserverance and class spirit to mr ng. well done, s23! (:

considered 2nd post of the day. since i dedicated by birthday greeting to banana and wished her at 12MIDNIGHT on the DOT and tagged her board at 12MIDNIGHT on the DOT and she didnt appreciate it. i have decided to boycott her blog. :/

certain things have been on my mind recently, looking at the prev post, and ive been thinking quite alot... how i really wish time would fly back. and i dont know whether i made the right decision. perhaps, it wasnt a blessing.

it has taken quite a bit of a drastic turn. but i hope it just gets better.

fate can be really amazing. and sometimes it isnt. i was browsing through my saved messages. and i saw some old messages that will prob be in my sim card forever.

its surprising how you get to know someone.
and then. somehow or rather, certain things happen,
that you sort of didnt want it to.

and you're stuck in that trap.
i rather it stayed like it was before.
it'll be much better off that way. but i cant determine my fate. those that you least expected turned out the way you most dreaded. and they cant be avoided.

how eventful.

all i did was to cheer shout myself hoarse for the bowlers in inter cca relay.
it was pretty boring i guess.
just slacked and rotted at the gallery.

seeing the track capt run like the wind.
seriously, he breezed through it.
that was absolutely pro.
and i love his yellow shoes. whooo.
and they were saying its in the shoes man.

and the bowlers did great (: am so proud of em.

since the class dispersed even before sports day ended, i went with the bowlers for lunch.

headed down to suntec and had kenny rogers.

and ive to admit, i suck at it. i used up like 3 tokens when maggie was still at her 1st one!? my reaction quite slow la. and my hand-eye coordination sucks pretty bad as well. hahaha. i only succeeded well enough for the flower growing part! so fun!

went into the hall at about 2.45... got the first row with the bowlers, steph, david, glenn, darryl and then elis, mich, nicholas came down later. hahaha. bowlers unite! then waited until that cai li lian came, and she talked. and the mo fang da sai started and blah blah.

and then he finally came.

and talked about the 華語 cool thing...
say he was from chinese society. and v funny la.
when he asked who was from chinese society, steph and elis raised their hands.
GOODNESS. betrayers! lol.

then when he sang yuan lai 原來 halfway, he came down stage.
and then the chaos started.

then he left after that. and then the 3 of us were like chionging out of the hall with our cds in hand. and pro steph shouted JUNJIE! so loudly. hahaha so he sort of walked slower, and i happened to be first, so i asked, 俊傑，可以幫我簽名嗎? and i think he was fumbling with something, so i heard him mumble, 好啊，等一下！then the stupid manager was like 不可以簽名！and then she hurried him down to the conference room. gahhhh.

then outside conference room we were trying to peep in la. cos he was filming the chn 8/u news thing. and the blinds were blocking our view. and mrs lim (our principal) was so nice she actually opened the blinds for us! and then we shuang la... but then his tw in charge came out and say what, pls dont bang the windows, cos we're filming! and she pulled the blinds down. but we werent even touching the windows? -_-'''

so later that adam chen and his partner from 都是大發現 came to film. then they were like taking pix with others outside the general office la. haha he's quite suave la. lol. and the girl damn tall. so yeah we were waiting la.. and finally jj came out again. and now the first manager was like 不可以簽名阿！and she hurried him off. so then before that i last min decided to write a letter in case of any undesired circumstances at least got some memory that i gave him a letter. hahah. =X

and so i was like directly behind him but i called JUNJIE JUNJIE so many times he didnt hear me, so i gently poked his right arm la. hahaha and his arm was like so well-built. 肌肉很結實 okay! and then he was like, HUH? and i passed him the letter and he turned around and smiled and said 謝謝！HHAHAA. okay i think the 謝謝 was quite loud cos steph was like, oh no wonder he said 謝謝. lol.

okay i gently poked him ok. a few times. with my index and 2nd finger la. not pinch. just poke, like...nudge abit. unlike grace's sayanging of renfu. that's total molestation. so bian tai! hahaha.
so yeah. and then he left.

okay so we finally had inter-cg heats relay today. getting top 8 out of 51 classes is not easy. and we didnt make it. but our timing improved by 10 secs! =)

im so proud of you guys! and the actual strategy could not be put into place. and so it had to be 5 girls and 5 guys and i was first.

gahhh. i think i ran slower than normal. ohwells.

so proud of you guys! the runners, lena, chiewyong, annabel, belinda, justin, gland, yewliang, brandon and kokyong... :D o6s23 unite! we shall train now till next yr and trash the rest next yr yeah!

oh i failed my first math test. sucky. i need qns to practice on! and history is taxing too. sigh. this week has been the week i've slept the least. with like and avr of 5 hrs a day.

on a sadder note, little banana passed away this morning. it seemed like the mosquito spray toxic went into his lungs yesterday and my maid forgot to take him out of the garden area. so he had breathing problems this morning, stuggling and waiting to die.

poor banana.

its kency's and my hamster. and its gone. :( cheh buried it today in the garden. but i could not bare to see its hardened body. i guess we'll never get a special hamster just like little banana every again, being able to win him from ac funorama. sigh.

i'll post a pic of little banana when im feeling better.

we'll miss you little banana, you'll be etched in our memories for eternity.

ok i've been slacking since yesterday. went parkway for awhile in the evening to look for things. and i want this adidas backpack i saw! i realized that my present sling can get really heavy esp when i've gotta bring all those notes like physics and the gp reading thing! now my left shoulder aches like mad.

and i slacked when i came home too. surfed the net and did random stuff. i should really start finishing my final PI right away. GAH.

and there's gp essay, physics tutorial, math tutorial, gp reading, econs test to study for, gp group presentation, history to read up.... and the list is never ending.

sometimes, there's so many things to complain about jc life. but then, there's so many things to be overwhelmed with happiness too.

ok, i'd just like to update on something very queer that happened today, well last night actually.

i had a very weird dream. i dreamt that i had training in TAIPEI, somewhere in Zhongshan. and then i met this person. _______. (i shant disclose the name, hahaa and i've only told my crazy shit about it!) and then... we began running around, dunno to where and doing stupid things like jumping into lifts and coming down again.

and then i saw jo in my dream.
and the last time i saw jo was at taka when we went to celebrate kris' bday!
i still remember the date, 21 march. mum's bday as well.

and they say, you dream of someone because you're thinking of that person too much.
but i wasnt! this person wasnt of a place somewhere in my mind at all. and jo appeared out of nowhere either.

and i was shocked when i was dreaming, yeah i could sense it somehow, i dont know why. it just happened. this particular person was of no relation to me, as in, a friend of mine or what, but still, appeared in my dreams.

well, this person has a unique character, a recognisable figure, but..... of all people, i didnt expect that it was this person... and the feeling inside the dream was of bliss? i wouldnt say why, but i felt ......happy.

somehow, i did.

and it has been on my mind the whole day. i've been wondering whether it actually MEANT something, but i guess not. its just so queer, so weird, so unimaginable.

i guess weird things happen once in a while, dont they?

went home early. even though there was life concert. had to do stupid gp project anyway.

fri.
had PT after school. played captain's ball for about 1 hr. damn fun sia! and played soccer earlier in the morning. i love soccer! okay. hahaha esp when the guys are kind to pass the ball to the girls. and oh. we paced each other. chiewyong led first, then lena, and last round supposed to be annabel, me and belinda. but suddenly something came over me and i just surged forward la. amazing. we did like. 2.05, 2.10, 2.08 mins? wah if only my 2.4km was that fast. well. i cant wait for relay. how exciting.

today.
had roll-off early in the morning. i'm super inconsistent. =/ sigh. i hope i get into the team though. ate lunch with the rest and came back. met hyingx and kenneth @ ecp. bladed from 4 to like 7? haha they were there at 1.30... even better... so fun la! and we fooled around lots. screamed like no one's business. =P
